NDA looks to future with Soltius and SAP

Leading industrial stainless steel fabricator NDA Group has chosen Soltius New Zealand to implement and support SAP Business All-in-One for their New Zealand and Australian operations.

Hamilton-headquartered NDA Group is an international leader in the fabrication of stainless steel process/storage vessels and heat exchangers with facilities across Australasia, China and North America.

They chose SAP Business-All-in-One after a competitive process and will replace the Timms, Baan and Sybiz legacy systems currently running on their seven Australasian sites.

NDA CFO Sean McCormack said that their rigorous evaluation of a range of options convinced them that SAP and Soltius were the right fit for NDA Group’s business plans. “What stood out for us was SAP’s acceptance in mid-market companies and the lifetime value the solution offers to cope with future growth, along with the Soltius’ track record as a systems partner, which is second to none.”

SAP Business All-in-One is SAP’s fully- integrated solution for medium-sized businesses and as an SAP partner, Soltius has carried out more successful implementations in New Zealand than anyone else.

Soltius Director Jim Brodie said that the solution was well-suited to NDA’s requirements. “NDA is an innovative and growing company with ambitious plans both locally and internationally. As such, they needed a solution which could enable and support those long-term plans.

“There continues to be a market misconception that SAP is not suited to medium-sized New Zealand businesses, but this will be our tenth implementation of this solution in that sector. Our experience has been that SAP Business All-in-One provides a competitive advantage that other products can’t.”
