Seminar: Improving SAP GUI with NetWeaver Business Client
Wednesday, 18 Aug, 2010
An end user’s perception of SAP is influenced more by the user interface’s look, feel and ease of use than anything else. NetWeaver Business Client (NWBC) is SAP’s next desktop GUI, offering real opportunities to improve usability and productivity.
While previous versions of NWBC lacked the functions and maturity sought by customer, the NWBC 3.0 release, coinciding with some great SAP Enhancement Pack functionality, is a major step forward. Soltius is holding seminars in Auckland and Wellington in September to provide a detailed view of NWBC 3.0, live demonstrations of the product, release information and a summary enablement strategy.
NWBC has some ‘portal like’ qualities – being able to expose traditional SAP GUI transaction, SAP Web Dynpro and regular (non-SAP) web content. Users can more effectively access the solution whilst retaining SAP GUI performance and it’s also the perfect medium to enable SAP delivered Web Dynpro functions – such as Power Lists – and includes integrated search functionality and Web 2.0 content.
